WHY STRENGTH TRAINING?
Strength is the basis of all human movement, and the most important physical trait (muscle mass is THE #1 biomarker for longevity!). It's importance cannot be overstated for the athlete, the elderly, or those trying to tone, lose weight, get rid of nagging back and joint pain, and be healthy overall. We offer the most effective strength program on the market today (Starting Strength); it's safety and efficiency are second to none, and we provide the programming as well as the coaching. Our clients have ranged from ages 10 - 91.
BUT I DON'T WANT TO GET "BIG!"
Our program is designed to make you strong, and therefore you will gain LEAN muscle mass: this makes strength training the MOST effective method of getting toned, since you quite simply cannot "tone" what isn't there. People who "get big" are participating in the sport called bodybuilding, with many hours spent on different exercises specifically designed to build BULK muscle mass, and a highly specialized diet as well. Our program is focused on gaining the functional strength that makes life simpler, with less bodily pains and more strength and energy for your activities, all the while developing a more toned, USEFUL body.
Clients begin in either the Foundations class or with Personal Training, and can continue there or during the CrossFit class times.

Tuesday - 5:00am, 8:00am, 12:00, 4:30, 5:30 & 6:30pm
Wednesday - 5:00am, 8:00am, 12:00, 4:30, 5:30 & 6:30pm
Thursday - 5:00am, 8:00am, 12:00, 4:30, 5:30 & 6:30pm
Friday - 8:00am, 12:00, 4:30 & 5:30pm
